The Centre Delà s, with other pacifist organisations, promotes the campaign 'Recortemos el gasto militar, invirtamos en gasto social' (Cut military spending, invest in social spending), launched by fifteen Spanish organisations.
As a member of the International Peace Bureau (IPB), JustÃcia i Pau is involved in this campaign, due to which it joined in at the second Global Day of Action on Military Spending, celebrated on the 17th of April. This day coincided with the presentation of the report of the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), which includes new data on military spending. People from all over te world joined that day in actions to attract public, media and political attention to the costs of military spending and the necessity of new priorities.
