Jesús Eduard Alonso

Jesús Eduard Alonso i López (Gandia, 1958) has been an archivist, has a degree in Contemporary History from the University of Valencia and a Higher Diploma in Archival Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He has published numerous books and articles on military lives, military conflicts and pacifism. He was a member of MOC (Movimientos de Objeción de Conciencia) and of the editorial board of the magazine En Pie de Paz. It has also promoted the creation of the Arxiu Històric del MOC del País Valencià, guarded by the Archive of Democracy of the University of Alicante. He writes analysis and reflections on pacifism on his personal blog.
