On October 3th at 7:00 p.m., the presentation of the new report by Centre Delàs d’Estudis per la Pau, “Businesses tested in combat. Export the Israel brand to maintain employment and normalize injustice” will be held in Barcelona. The event will include the intervention of Jamal Juma, a prominent Palestinian human rights defender, coordinator of the Stop The Apartheid Wall Campaign since 2002. The event will be moderated by the president of the Palestinian Community of Catalonia, Natalia Abu-Sharar, and will include the participation of the authors of the report, the researchers from Centre Delàs, Alejandro Pozo Marín and Ainhoa Ruiz Benedicto, who will present the main conclusions and reflections of the publication.
The report, which is to be published on Tuesday, analyzes Israeli arms exports, including the most prominent types of weapons and the leading role in the construction of weapons and the deployment of global border control technologies.
The event is organized by Centre Delàs d’Estudis per la Pau, Servei Civil Internacional (SCI) and Suds, with the support of Agència Catalana de Cooperació al Desenvolupament (ACCD).
